About three weeks ago I had a standard ultrasound to check the level of amniotic fluid (definitely not a problem for me - I had twice the amount of most people at this point in pregnancy). The tech checked for all the limbs, too, and remarked, "Wow, that foot is so high I can't really see it."
I certainly didn't need to be told; I had felt that foot in my ribcage for the last three months. It's much more fun to admire it on this side of the womb.
