I finally discovered that Matthew is in fact allergic to milk after conducting a highly scientific test: putting yogurt on his skin. While the test at the doctor's office was negative several months ago, there was a definite reaction today, and this would explain why his skin issues have never completely resolved.
I'm both relieved and frustrated, but this will shorten the grocery list.

I'm so sorry that your little Matthew has yet another allergy. I can't imagine how frustrating this is for you. Now that you know what it is, I hope his skin clears up quickly. Stay strong! We'll see you this weekend.
